Description

The Griffith’s Gnat was created by George Griffith and is a very versatile fly pattern. It can imitate a midge cluster of mating flies or an adult single midge, depending on the size. It works well as a second fly, trailing off of another dry fly. Fish will often take it in slower, flat water and while riding low in the foam.

These beautifully hand-tied flies are available from Ames Fly Fishing in size 20. Essential for all fly boxes! Happy Fishing!
